About the DFW Wing
The DFW Wing is the local Dallas / Fort Worth chapter of the CAF. We seek to give people opportunities to volunteer and participate with historic, rare aircraft that helped save the world from tyranny.
We use the aircraft to Educate, Inspire and Honor through flight and living history experiences. The planes travel the US and tell the story of the sacrifice and dedication of the Greatest Generation.
The Wing is headquartered in a large hangar at the Lancaster, TX Municipal Airport. The facility is the operational home of our aircraft, as well as a Hangar Museum.
Members are engaged in all kinds of activities and experience a great esprit de corps, fun and satisfaction. All people are welcome to become involved as members, volunteers, donors or students.
